JEM Bates is a writer based in South Australia, having originally emigrated from the UK. Drawing from a lifetime of observing the wonderful, everyday absurdities of local community groups and country sporting leagues, You’ll Enjoy It! is a debut novel that captures the heart, timing, and sharp, self-deprecating humor of regional Australian life. The manuscript is currently out on simultaneous submission with select traditional independent publishers.
